If you love beads and want to make your own then take a class from Diane. Diane is a great teacher and so patient and never gets upset at the same questions over and over. It was a wonderful experience and I plan to take another lesson soon.  The most beautiful beads I own are her creations. I have been lucky to watch Diane create new beads through the years.  She gets better and better.  I am so lucky and proud to have Diane as my friend and teacher.

I am pleased and excited with the bead display that you custom made for me! I am not a bead shop owner, nor do I sell the glass beads that I make. It's nice to enjoy having my favorite beads out where I can easily see and enjoy them. I can also show them to friends and family, who may even choose a few that I can make into jewelry for them. My beads will be displayed in a more attractive and safe manner than in a flat tray that is easily spilled. The display takes up very little space - much less than bead trays. Also, I can place beads on it that I want to duplicate and position it on my work station so I can easily see their size and shape.

DK Designs is an outstanding source for quality lampwork beads and handmade custom jewelry such as necklaces, bracelets, and earrings.  The pieces are very unusual and eye catching.  My favorites are always the fish beads that can be bought individually, on a pedestal for display, or already attached to a thread and fiber necklace.  The colors are vibrant and the attention to detail is amazing.  You could put them in an aquarium and even the fish would think they were real.  I am always excited to take home anything from DK Designs because I know I am going to get lots of compliments.

Diane is always interested in hearing how you have used the beads, is eager to provide helpful hints if asked, and goes out of her way to make your beading experience special.  She is always friendly, customer oriented, and just a nice person!  How can you ask for more!!

DK Designs is a talented group of people who enjoy their creative energy.  Their jewelry always draws compliments, from novices to professionals alike.  They have a keen sense of colors and textures and put them together in the most beautiful way.  It inspired me to start beading. I had a piece once that came apart, and within days was fixed. 

Donna is an excellent instructor, and has lots of patience with those of us trying to learn new techniques.  She has the heart of a teacher.  My son and I took a glass bead making class with her and were amazed at what we accomplished in the first session.

My one day private workshop with Diane was life changing.  I was afraid of fire but so fascinated by the beautiful glass beads. She got me to a comfort level where I could go home and set up my own glass studio.  The rest is history.  I will forever be in love with molten glass!  Diane has also been so wonderful and helpful with information and support since then.  She is my mentor and I am forever indebted to her.  Without her patience and skill I would still be afraid of fire.  After a day with Diane there's nothing I'd rather do than sit at the torch.

I would like to thank Diane Kovach for demonstrating lampworking techniques to my high school art classes. My students were mesmerized by her skills and fascinated by the many different beads she could make. The first time she came was three years ago. Students were still talking about her and her wonderful beads two years later and they requested that I commission her to come again this past year so that they could watch her another time.  It was a wonderful in-school field trip.

My students were able to see an amazing sculptural artist at work; they didn't miss any of their other classes as they would have if we had taken an away-from-school field trip; more students were able to see the demonstrations than would have been able to go on a bus; and it cost less per student because we didn't have to pay for transportation. I highly recommend Diane Kovach for other art class demonstrations!

Hi Diane,

 I had a blast! I can't believe I can MAKE GLASS BEADS!!!!!! I love it. When I get home I'll start getting my tools together so I can practice.When I come back in Oct. and Jan. maybe we can get together and I can get some more classes.

We ended up coming back to Lake Martin instead of going to Va. and DC.We'll do that another trip.Come see me in Colorado.

I have enjoyed every class!! You are such a special person and wonderful friend!
You have given so much to all of us. We are all addicted. I'm not doing allot of creative things at home like allot of the ladies. It was the fellowship. Having a special place to look forward to going to each week, and doing something for me. It was also like therapy.

I love you and thank you and wish you the best with your concentrating on what you love to do. I keep saying us and we, but it is from me. I know the others feel the same way! Looking forward to the projects at the coffee shops.

I was intimidated by the thought of working with any type of loom, but within 5 minutes, Diane had put me at ease. The sound of the bobbins was so relaxing, and the finished product is remarkable.
