2007 - 2008
Glass Bead Making
Learn how to use a Hot Head torch to melt glass into beads. You will learn how to make different shapes, decorate with stringer, frit and cane. Students will make beads the very first night of class.
Fall 07 - Tuesdays - September 4th - October 9th - 7:00pm to 10:00pm
Take your bead making to the next level with this intermediate class. You will extend your knowledge with new techniques, learning more shapes and intricate detail decorations.
Winter 07 - Tuesdays - October 23rd - November 27th - 7:00pm to 10:00pm
This is not a class for pregnant women, also must be 18 years old to take this class.
Class fee for Kennesaw Residents - $120.00
Class fee for Non-Residents - $135.00
Supply Fee - $50.00 payable the first night of class to cover glass, frits, silver and use of tools.
Students must bring a can of Mapp Gas with them the first night of class. Mapp Gas can be purchased at Home Depot, Lowes or most hardware stores.
